There are numerous websites available on the internet teaching how to trap the bird using heavy and technical traps and everything but simple way. Usually we get this idea that birds cannot be trapped without difficult and technical traps (as birds fly pretty quickly) and this is so true that birds when fly cannot be trapped; Almighty has provided such a wonderful feature to all the birds in the world. But today here we are not going to discuss anything technical, whereas, we will be discussing a simple way to trap a bird without using any expensive tools and stuff, and without using too much brain in engineering the whole trap like bird control spikes. We all have seen cartoons right here we will be discussing the same.

Things which are required: to make this so called trap is a solid wood stick about 7 to 8 inches long, thread (length depends on distance from the stick to the spot where you are standing), a large plastic pot or any netted bowl which can be easily found in everybody’s kitchen.

Method: now that we have all the stuff in front of us making an easy mechanism is no more difficult. First find an open space where you see that birds are frequently visiting or any other place where birds are flying normally and mostly. Secondly spread some seeds and food on the ground (don’t scatter far and wide just scatter in a circular motion nearby places), it is important to know the favorite food of the bird which one is planning to catch. Thirdly place that wooden stick and adjust the plastic bowl/netted bowl just on the edge of the wooden stick (to understand this make a 45 degree angle between the standing wood and plastic bowl) don’t forget to tie that wooden stick with the thread before coinciding it to the plastic bowl. Finally spread the thread till the place where one is trying to stand and pull the string (try to hide the thread so that birds don’t get the feel of the mechanism). Now just wait until a bird flies in to eat the spread food. As soon as pigeon or any other bird gets busy eating standing under the plastic bowl quickly pool the thread to let the plastic bowl drop on the floor. As a result it will captivate the bird inside, safe and healthy. Simple remove the bowl and catch the bird, this method is simple easy to implement and has been used since so many years. Bare this in mind that in some country doing this method is a crime so be very careful and learn the rules and laws beforehand to understand everything and know it properly.
